Privacy Policy

In short: SnuggleShuffle doesn't collect, store or share any of your personal data. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you add stays on your iPhone.

Who we are

SnuggleShuffle is made by Jordan Walker ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy, email snuggleshuffle@jlwproject.co.uk.

Information we collect

None. The app has no servers and no account system, and it doesn't send your information anywhere. It doesn't include any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code.

What stays on your iPhone

The app stores the following only on your device, so that it works:

Your categories, ideas, favourites and shuffle history.
Your settings, such as your wheel theme and whether "Anything" is shown.
A background photo, if you choose one. The app makes a resized copy and removes its location and other photo metadata (EXIF) before saving it. That copy is excluded from your device backups.

We can't see any of this. Your iPhone's own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) may include your categories and ideas, under your control and Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes its data from your iPhone.

Photos

When you pick a background photo, you choose it with Apple's photo picker. The app only receives the one photo you select, not your library, and that photo never leaves your iPhone.

Exporting and importing wheels

If you use Export wheels, the app creates a file of your categories and ideas (not your history) and hands it to the share sheet. Where it goes after that, such as Files, Messages, Mail or AirDrop, is your choice. Importing reads only the file you open.

Purchases

SnuggleShuffle Plus is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we never see your payment details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether Plus is unlocked on your account.

Information Apple may share with us

Apple may give developers anonymous, combined statistics (such as download numbers), and crash reports only if you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings. These don't identify you. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Children

The app doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we don't hold any personal data about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You're in full control of the data on your iPhone: edit or delete it in the app, or delete the app to remove all of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, for example if we add optional iCloud sync, we'll update this page and the date above before the change reaches the app.
